After 6 years in the Army, Kathy continued to pursue her passion for Hand Therapy, working directly with Hand Surgeons and passing the Certified Hand Therapist exam in 1994.
Kathy started working with Hand and Microsurgery Associates in 1997. Working with this special group of Doctors and Hand Therapists a HMA is Kathy’s dream job. She has said that she “cant imagine doing anything else.” Kathy loves helping people recover after their injuries, whether big or small.
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys reading, bike riding, gardening, and traveling. She’s had the opportunity to live in Europe while in the Army and was lucky to travel to many countries. Kathy has also been to China twice, and more recently travelled to South Africa, Italy and Scotland.
Kathy has two grown daughters who live close by and two “grand cats!”
