Do you know what to do in the event of an emergency hand or arm injury? First, call 911.
Ask to be transferred to Riverside Methodist Hospital or Dublin Methodist Hospital and request to be treated by a Hand and Microsurgery Associates physician.
We have decades of experience treating hand and arm traumas, such as crush injuries and amputations, and are on call 24-hours a day to lend emergency assistance.
In the event of an emergency, physicians can reach our on-call physician for care, 24/7, at 1-800-262-4263 (HAND).
We can meet patients at Riverside Methodist Hospital or Dublin Methodist Hospital. When appropriate, we are also able to perform many of our surgeries at our on-site surgical center, The Hand Center.
CLOSELY CONNECTED TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL COMMUNITY
We’ve helped train hundreds of local emergency medical technicians and paramedics on how to transport patients with traumatic injuries, like amputation, so that they have the best opportunity for recovery. We’re able to do more to help patients when we meet them at the hospital if appropriate steps have been taken at the injury site.
