	After a hand or upper extremity injury or surgery, patients have to relearn basic hand movements. This difficult task takes time, specialized assistance, and encouragement. Hand Therapy provides specialized treatment of conditions of the hand and upper extremity. Hand Therapy is often needed to complete the recovery after an injury or surgery. Frequently, therapy may begin the first day after surgery while the stitches are in. Columbus Hand Therapy is the largest practice of Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) in Central Ohio. We are devoted to the rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions. We treat patients of all ages, from children through adults. Columbus Hand Therapy is conveniently located adjacent to Hand and Microsurgery Associates. Some appointments are scheduled with both your Hand Surgeon and your therapist. This allows the opportunity to evaluate your progress and immediately modify your treatment plan to assure optimal recovery.
